SINGAPORE - Singapore Premier League club house allied organised a photography exhibition at the MacPherson Community Club (CC) upon Saturday (Dec 29), in what was a zenith of a community outreach programme aimed at youths animated in MacPherson.Called My World Through My Lens, the exhibition wise saying some 50 youths, who are allocation of the MacPherson youth Network Club, proudly display photos they had taken during the school holidays.They had undergone a photography workshop from Dec 14-16 conducted by professional photographer Lee Aik Soon, and were tasked to appropriate a series of impactful photographs from on the order of the MacPherson place based upon four themes: "People and things we value", "What we desire to change", "What we desire to play-act the world" and "Portraits". The exhibition was attended by Ms Tin Pei Ling, advocate of Parliament for MacPherson SMC, and Mr Chong Kee Hiong, an MP for Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC and supporter to Home.Said house general superintendent Badri Ghent: "Home allied sees this as an excellent opportunity to leverage upon photography as a vehicle to steer assimilation back up into the local football fraternity and the community at large."It is necessary for us to engage youths in Singapore continually, and we admit the strength of photos and social media as a marketing tool. "We plus desire to meet the expense of back up to the MacPherson community and MacPherson CC, for their preserve of our youth academy at Mattar Road."
